Presenter Gary Jaffer asks Why celebrate philosophy and really, who needs it? Is it relevant in our day and age?

Gary was introduced to the School of Philosophy in Auckland in 1988. At that time he was working as a senior executive in the advertising industry. In 2005 he established The School of Practical Philosophy, Adelaide as a branch of the Melbourne School.

His wisdom abounds.

Inspiring singer-songwriter, Gene Phoa, will perform his SCALA award-winning song ‘Folklore War’ along with music that celebrates living a life well-lived.

Bird in Hand Winery at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills is recognised as one of Australia’s best, taking out numerous national awards.
